Say Hello

In July 2017 I joined Layburn Hodgins and hit the ground running to assist John Abbott and Kylie Dawson with their clients’ conveyancing and commercial matters. From September 2018 I am continuing to work with the team remotely.

I have a keen interest in the property market and thoroughly enjoy assisting clients with their real estate transactions. My niche is also in trade marks, so I enjoy assessing clients with protecting the goodwill of their businesses by filing trade mark applications using bespoke specifications to assert their trade mark interests in the best way possible.

Client care and clear communication are at the forefront of my work ethic, and I consider myself to be proactive, efficient and thorough.

With nearly 15 years of experience within the law profession, I have been involved in a variety of fields of law working with legal and intellectual property firms in both New Zealand and the UK. From 2013-2016 I was based in the UK and worked with two very reputable firms in London and Cheltenham. During that time I also took the opportunity to travel around Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA, which has given me a much wider perspective and enhanced sense of cultural awareness.

My qualifications include a New Zealand Law Society Diploma in Legal Executive Studies (attained in 2010) and a Certificate in Business Administration.

Apart from travelling, my hobbies include cooking, rock climbing, yoga, hiking and running.
