It is important to me that you are able to make an informed decision on a matter – to this end I ensure that I set out your options in a straightforward manner and in plain English language. EXPERIENCE

I joined Layburn Hodgins in July 2014 with prior legal experience from community law caseworking and clerkships overseas both with a High Court and a full service law firm.

I am a regular guest speaker at GJ Gardner Homes ‘New Home Build’ Seminars, advising prospective purchasers on purchasing land, building contracts and what to do pre- and post- build. Building wider community connections is important to me and so I helped establish a Christchurch branch of the New Zealand China Trade Association’s Young Associates, which I currently co-chair. I am also involved with the Canterbury Community Law Centre where I volunteer providing immigration law advice.

Originally from Malaysia, I am competent in Mandarin, Hokkien and Malay.
