Say Hello

Member of New Zealand Law Society, Canterbury District Law Society and Auckland District Law Society

I was formerly a member of the Commercial and Property Law Committee for the Canterbury-Westland branch of the New Zealand Law Society and have assisted with numerous courses and established resources for our members.

LAW

I practice Property Law, Commercial & Business Law, Trust Law, Elder Law and Estate & Succession Planning.

I take pride in giving ‘concise, precise advice’. That means being able to explain complex legal matters in plain English to ensure that my clients can make considered and informed decisions. Being a trusted advisor to my clients is a privileged role. It is important to me that I am approachable, reliable and really get to know my clients well so that I can help them get to the heart of their legal matters and what they’d like to achieve.

EXPERIENCE

I first joined Layburn Hodgins as a law clerk in 2004. A four year working OE in London then saw me in a number of legal roles including Litigation Support for a large London firm and then as an Examiner investigating misconduct in personal and corporate insolvency for UK Official Receiver’s Office. I re-joined the Commercial and Property team at Layburn Hodgins in 2008, became an Associate of the firm in 2010 and a Director in April 2016.
